Please welcome author Ivy Devlin, author of Low Red Moon, to GreenBeanTeenQueen! As part of the Low Red Moon blog tour, Ms. Devlin is traveling to various blogs and making fun guest posts. Since I'm a librarian and love hearing about libraries and authors, I asked her to talk about my favorite topic, the library.
Libraries and Me
Libraries have played a huge role in my life. I grew up in an area where there weren't many bookstores, and the local library was, until I went to college, basically my only source of books! More than that, the librarians there saw that I liked to read and encouraged me--they let me check out more than ten books at a time, they told me when something new came in that they thought I'd like and they never, ever questioned anything I checked out. They trusted me and what I wanted to read, and I loved that.
So libraries--not just a huge role in my life, but a huge piece of my heart as well.
I love it! I'm so glad when authors love the library as much as I do!:) Thanks Ivy!!
