Comment Challenge 2012

It's the start to a new year and one of my blogging resolutions is to comment more on the blogs I read. So of course I had to sign up for Mother Reader and Lee Wind's Comment Challenge 2012.

The goal of the challenge is to leave at least 5 comments between today (January 5) and January 25 and to read 100 comments by the end. Each Wednesday we'll check in and post our updates. I'm going to try and keep track of comments on this post so I have an easy tallying system.

So won't you join in? It's the perfect way to make that new goal and get into the commenting habit in the new year!

  1. What a great challenge! I actually kind of love leaving comments for other bloggers, just bc I know how excited I get when someone takes the time to thoughtfully respond to something I've written. Good luck!

  2. I too, signed up for the Challenge and hope to learn a ton from other blogs. Maybe along the way, someone might learn from mine. This will also force me to update my blog on a regular basis.

I look forward to reading your posts!

  6. Good luck with your tallying - that gets a little tricky! :)

This year I have been trying to select a few blogs to visit and send their links to my email account to remind myself to go back and comment if possible. The Flipboard app is pretty slick for this function :)

    Happy commenting!

  7. I really enjoyed this challenge last year, but would have forgot it this year without your timely reminder. Thanks!

  8. I should sign up for the challenge but this year I decided to pass on the challenges since I either a)fail to finish them or b) finish them but forget to update. I am trying to comment more this year too though. I've been tackling my reader tonight and forgot how good it feels to leave comments on people's blogs!

13 District Mockingjay Tour: District 4

Hello and welcome to District Four. I'm sorry that Finnick isn't here to be your host. I know as a member of District Four I should be cheering for my own tribute, but after watching the last two Hunger Games play out I have fallen in love with Peeta Mellark! Why do I love Peeta? He's smart, he's funny, and he's charming. He stands up for what he believes, he's loyal and he's not afraid to do what's right. He's sensitive and caring but can also be strong and kick butt. He fights for Katniss and with Katniss. Peeta is a great diplomat and he knows how to bring people together. He can also be sneaky to get what he wants. Plus, did I mention he can bake? And he's hot!! But it's not just me! We have an underground club of sorts here in District Four-Seafaring Librarians for Peeta! Here's what some of our members had to say about their love for Peeta: - Team Peeta!! I love their relationship because they balance each other perfectly. Where
